1. OBJECTIVES
The GAMe Workshop aims to bring together Engineering and Management students to explore how Mediterranean identity can support Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development.The workshop promotes Interdisciplinary Teamwork and Practical problem-solving around real regional challenges.
2. PROPOSAL AXES
- Axis 1: Innovation and Sustainable Development: Focus on practical solutions related to sustainability, including renewable energy, resource management, circular economy, and sustainable urban development.
- Axis 2: Mediterranean Identity and Cooperation Focus on cultural, social, and economic dimensions of Mediterranean identity, including cooperation, social innovation, sustainable tourism, and territorial development
3. WHO CAN APPLY
Students from the RMEIM Members (check Members here), from engineering, management, environmental sciences, economics, policy, and related fields (interdisciplinary are encouraged).
4. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- CV + Motivation letter
- A short video presenting your motivation to participate and a brief introduction of your project

6. PARTICIPATION FEES
- Students: 20€ for 3 days, all included
Transportation to Casablanca, Morocco, Accomodation, Food and Local Transportation are covered by RMEIM, the host institution ENCG Casablanca and the RMEIM Member.

Each student (team) presents their proposed project (~3 minutes per project)

14:20 – 15:50: Collaborative Workshop 1: “Defining the Foundations of Collaboration”
International mixed groups (engineering / management / different nationalities)
Activities: identification of common challenges, ideas for future mini-projects, strategies to sustain the network

Each group shares 2–3 key ideas
16:20 – 17:20: Immersive Cultural Session
Presentation of countries, flags, traditional costumes, short national anthems

09:00 – 09:30: Welcome and recap of Day 1
Brief synthesis of pitches and ideas emerging from the workshops
09:30 – 11:00: Collaborative Workshop 2: “Becoming Ambassadors and Creating Joint Projects”
- Objectives:
- Reflect on the creation of a club or “Michelangelo Chapter” within each member institution, in order to sustainably anchor the workshop’s dynamic at the local level.
- Identify how each participating student — or a designated representative — can become an ambassador of their institution, ensuring at least one official ambassador per institution.
- Define concrete actions to sustain collaboration after the workshop (e.g. periodic online meetings, joint projects, coordinated local events, etc.).
- Develop ideas for joint projects (technological, social, or cultural) to be implemented after the workshop, with an indicative timeline and identified responsibilities.
- Format: Mixed groups, one facilitator per group, guided brainstorming
- Deliverable: Mini action plan per group
